Antonella – 3 months after Stem Cell Therapy

We still don’t know what Antonella will achieve with the treatment, but we can already see improvements and for those who have a special daughter, every gain is worth it.

Antonella’s condition

Antonella was born prematurely at 7 months and lost her twin sister at 2 days of life due to a complication called fetal fetal transfer. She spent 2 months in the Neo-Natal ICU where she had hydrocephalus generated by a grade 4 hemorrhage. After leaving the ICU, she had seizures and underwent 3 other surgeries due to the use of the valve. And finally diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

Before the Treatment

According to her mom, Antonella today is an example of persistence. She has shown to be more and more intelligent – she knows the primary colors, body parts, family members, vowels, and the letters of her name. However, the motor difficulty leaves her with some limitations. She is very healthy and has no restrictions to travel; she is hardly hospitalized. Antonella always had the cognitive part more developed than the motor part. Before the treatment, she did not sit down and took a long time to answer the questions she was asked.

Finding out about Stem Cell Therapy

Antonella’s family heard about the treatment from the school teacher who saw it on the news. They saw this as an opportunity for an improvement in her independence and together with family and community they did a fundraising campaign to raise the money to come for treatment.

They spent a good amount of time going through Beike’s social media and testimonials from people who have already undergone the treatment.

They had never traveled this far and were a bit afraid of what they would find, but even so, they went for it.

Expectations and Arrival

The expectations are always the get the best for their daughter and improve her quality of life – independence is what they seek. “Due to the rules regarding covid, the first days were a bit tense, however, when all the required protocols were carried out, she started treatment with wonderful people who welcomed her and did all the procedures in the best possible way. The staff is excellent, super affectionate, helpful, and always concerned with the good conduct of the whole process” said Antonella’s mom.

Results

In the first months, after the treatment, her answers to questions started to be faster and her vision had a significant improvement, today after 3 months she is already able to sit with her legs crossed for a long time, without falling over, interacting a lot more and her vocabulary is expanding every day.
We are continuing with the food plan and she does all the therapies with great effort, without complaining, we hope that in the coming months she will still achieve more gains.
